The project location is on both sides of the Mekong River, with one side located in the area of Ban Chiangman, Chom Phet District, Luang Prabang Province and the other side located in Luang Prabang City, Luang Prabang Province, the area around Ban Chiangman, Chom Phet District, Luang Prabang Province are general a bumpy gravel road in dilapidated condition with communities living on both sides of the road from time to time. Traveling during the dry season causes air pollution and during the rainy season there is total flooding, both side have natural waterways that cut through the route without proper bridges. This makes it difficult to travel, most of the project area is agricultural land when crosses the Mekong River to Luang Prabang city, Luang Prabang Province, where most of the area is home to densely populated buildings and communities, also close to Luang Prabang Airport as well
